Job Title Team Lead – Legal Operations and Contract Support

Role Summary:

Lead and oversee a global legal support and contract operations team supporting workflows in multiple global regions. Responsible for operational management, SLA adherence, workflow oversight, client communication, escalation management, and delivery quality across legal and contract support functions.

This role requires proactive leadership, strong operational ownership, stakeholder management, and the ability to independently manage high-volume legal support workflows in a fast-paced global environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead daily operations of the legal support and contract operations team across workflows in multiple global regions.
• Ensure SLA adherence, delivery continuity, and proactive management of operational risks, workload balancing, team capacity, coverage schedules, and delivery priorities.
• Provide real-time operational oversight and support to team members handling legal and contract support workflows.
• Conduct QC/QA reviews and provide timely, actionable feedback to improve workflow quality and reduce repeat errors.
• Lead client governance, escalation, and operational review discussions with professionalism and strong communication skills.
• Proactively manage and communicate workflow risks, escalations, action items, delays, and operational concerns to clients and internal stakeholders through resolution and closure.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, playbooks, workflow procedures, and quality standards across the team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on workflow efficiency, operational consistency, and service delivery quality.
• Support cross-training, backup readiness, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure continuity of service.
• Utilize approved reporting, workflow management, and AI-enabled tools to improve operational visibility and team performance.
• Complete operational reporting, metrics tracking, and delivery updates accurately and on time.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) required.
• Experience leading legal operations, contract management, legal support, or managed services teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting legal operations, contract lifecycle management, or corporate legal support functions preferred.
• Prior Team Lead or supervisory experience within a managed services environment preferred.
• Strong operational management and workflow coordination skills with the ability to proactively manage competing priorities, escalations, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accountability mindset, and ability to prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, along with experience using communication, collaboration, and reporting platforms such as Slack, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow tools, reporting solutions, or operational automation initiatives preferred.
