Chandanagar Last-Mile Team Leader, FlexPro

Role Overview
This role will be responsible for end-to-end last-mile execution for the FlexPro delivery network from a designated DTDC branch/Dream store. This includes biker hiring, daily attendance, fleet management, vendor coordination, productivity management, SLA adherence, Cost per order management and payment coordination. The role demands strong on-ground operational management of biker fleets with direct accountability for branch-level KPIs such as SLA, productivity, RAD to Del%, COD del%, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Biker Hiring & On-boarding
Generate and close hiring leads through local networks, referrals, and vendor partners.
Onboard bikers with the right documentation through vendor agencies and walk-ins.
Conduct screening, orientation, app training, and route familiarisation for new bikers.
Ensure rapid replacement for absenteeism or attrition to maintain roster strength
Daily Biker Management
Conduct shift based attendance, shift allocation & roster adherence management.
Manage absenteeism and real-time redeployment of bikers
Drive compliance on app usage, scanning workflows and operational SOPs
Monitor hourly dispatches and take corrective action to prevent backlog
Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with biker vendor partners for fulfilment, backfilling, compliance, and payouts.
Escalate and close issues related to documentation, onboarding gaps, or service quality
D. Payment Coordination
Verify biker attendance logs, productive hours, and trip-level MIS for payout accuracy.
Coordinate weekly/fortnightly payment inputs with finance, vendors, and central ops.
Resolve biker payment grievances or mismatches promptly to maintain roster stability.
Track payout benchmarks, incentives, and cost KPIs at the branch level.
E. Branch-Level Operational Excellence
Manage daily on-ground dispatch, routing, and load balancing for EP/BP shipments.
Drive SLA adherence (RAD vs DLV) and ensure timely delivery for premium and e-com shipments.
Track and own all operational KPIs at the branch:
Attendance & availability
Order Productivity
SLA adherence
Cost per Order (CPO)
Same-day delivery performance
Conduct branch-level audits for SOP adherence, exception shipments, and biker performance.
F. Productivity, Performance & Reporting
Track individual and branch-level biker productivity; drive corrective interventions.
Publish daily MIS covering attendance, productivity, exception cases, and operational issues.
Improve operational efficiency using route optimisation, batching and workload balancing.
Identify bottlenecks and propose actionable improvements to the city ops team.
G. Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
Work with Operations team and FlexPro central team for smooth execution.
Provide field feedback to product, tech, and process teams to improve tooling and workflows.
Support UAT and rollout of new modules in biker apps, attendance systems, and control tower dashboards.
Skills & Qualifications
25 years of experience in last-mile biker fleet handling in e-commerce or quick commerce companies
Hands-on experience managing 2050+ bikers per shift.
Strong vendor coordination and people management capability.
Ability to drive daily execution in high-intensity last-mile environments.
Basic proficiency in Excel/Sheets and familiarity with operational dashboards.
