Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - BFSI Operations to manage a team responsible for delivering high-quality banking, financial services, or insurance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills, process knowledge, stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven track record of achieving operational excellence, service quality, and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of executives/associates handling BFSI operational processes.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and quality standards.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous process improvements.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team development activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and audit guidelines.
• Analyze operational metrics and prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Handle escalations from customers, internal stakeholders, and business partners.
• Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and capacity management.
• Identify training needs and facilitate knowledge enhancement sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational effectiveness.
• Drive employee engagement and maintain a high-performance work culture.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance operations.
• Team handling and people management experience.
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, Loan Processing, Claims Processing, Underwriting, Wealth Management, or Back-office Operations (depending on business area).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in MIS reporting and operational dashboards.
• Ability to manage escalations and meet business targets.
