JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Field Investigation Team Lead to manage FI operations, supervise

field investigation agents, monitor case-level MIS, and ensure timely and accurate completion of field investigations. The

candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely case clearance

while maintaining investigation quality and adherence to credit policies. This is an office-based role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management: Manage and monitor the FI team's day-to-day activities, allocate cases, track productivity, and

ensure adherence to defined TATs and quality standards.

Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with customers, Sales teams, Credit Underwriters, and FI agency teams to

resolve queries and ensure timely case clearance.

MIS & Reporting: Maintain and update case-level MIS including case allocation, investigation status, pending cases,

TAT, observations, escalations, and final clearance status.

Field Investigation & Verification: Oversee and conduct VPD, TVC, and address cross-verification activities.

Geo-Location Verification: Validate customer business and residential addresses using latitude/longitude coordinates,

GPS locations, and supporting evidence.

Case Follow-up & Escalation: Monitor pending and critical cases, identify bottlenecks, and escalate delays or

discrepancies to the concerned stakeholders.

Quality & Risk Control: Ensure investigation findings are accurate, properly documented, and aligned with internal

credit policies. Identify suspicious activities, address mismatches, and potential fraud indicators.

Agency Management: Coordinate with FI agencies on case allocation, report quality, service levels, turnaround time,

and resolution of investigation-related concerns.

Performance Monitoring: Track daily productivity, pending cases, clearance TAT, and quality metrics to improve

overall operational efficiency.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

4–7 years of experience in Field Investigation, Credit Operations, Loan Underwriting Support, or FI Agency

Management.

Prior experience managing a team of field investigators or coordinating with FI agencies.

Hands-on knowledge of VPD, TVC, address verification, and geo-location cross-verification using latitude and

longitude.

Strong expertise in preparing and maintaining MIS, tracking case status, monitoring TAT, and analysing pending cases.

Experience in handling business loan or retail/MSME lending investigations will be preferred.

Strong coordination skills to work effectively with Sales, Credit Underwriting, customers, and external FI agencies.

Good working knowledge of MS Excel — filters, lookup functions, pivot tables, and MIS reporting.

Ability to identify discrepancies, assess investigation observations, and escalate potential fraud or credit risks.
