Role Overview

Chandigarh University is seeking a proactive and student-focused Team Leader – Counselling to supervise counselling operations, guide a team of counsellors, and ensure timely follow-ups with prospective students and parents. The role focuses on team productivity, counselling quality, enquiry management, and providing a seamless student experience throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of counsellors, ensuring effective enquiry handling and timely follow-ups.
• Guide prospective students and parents regarding programmes, eligibility, fee structures, scholarships, and admission procedures.
• Monitor daily counselling activities, team productivity, follow-up status, and enquiry progression.
• Ensure timely engagement with prospective students to facilitate applications and admissions.
• Allocate enquiries among counsellors and monitor progress through CRM and lead management systems.
• Conduct daily team briefings, performance reviews, and regular coaching sessions to improve counselling effectiveness.
• Review call quality, counselling standards, and student interactions to maintain a high-quality experience.
• Handle escalated student and parent queries and support the resolution of admission-related concerns.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Academic Departments, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve student queries.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, daily activity reports, and counselling MIS.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements in follow-up efficiency, student engagement, and enquiry management.
• Support admission campaigns, campus visits, webinars, open houses, and student engagement activities.
• Ensure adherence to university policies, admission guidelines, and established counselling processes.
