VIBE Youth CIC

Role overview
VIBE Youth CIC is recruiting a fixed-term Team Lead, working 2 days a week, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 3pm (12 hours a week in total), to support our facilitators and keep our projects organised, on track and well run. This is a non-delivery role: you support the people who deliver rather than facilitating sessions yourself.
You will be the day-to-day point of contact for our facilitators, sitting between the facilitation team and the senior leadership team. Your focus is people first, with a practical project management side and an outward-facing side, promoting VIBE to schools and partners.
Who we're looking for
We don't do corporate fluff or generic behaviour management. Our work is identity-based and trauma-informed, and helps young people work out who they are. You'll need to believe in that and be able to show it in practice.

Psychologically minded and grounded. You see unmet needs, not "bad behaviour", and you know how to keep delivery rooted in trauma-informed practice and identity work, with youth work as the container, coaching as the engine and NLP as the toolkit.

A reflective presence. You hold space for facilitators rather than policing them. You offer honest, collaborative feedback that helps people notice their own strengths and edges.

Emotionally steady. You bring calm energy and clear boundaries, and you stay anchored when a disclosure or a school tension comes up.

Savvy about schools and community settings. You understand how schools, PRUs, youth justice and referral networks work. You love opening doors, can speak up for VIBE with confidence, and can talk to inclusion leads and headteachers as an equal partner.

Project oversight
The project side is practical and light-touch. It keeps the work organised so facilitators can focus on young people.

Keep a simple workplan and timetable for our projects, track milestones, and log risks and issues, raising anything slipping with the senior leadership team early.

Coordinate schedules, rotas and cover so sessions run reliably.

Keep delivery true to the Wellbeing Framework and Facilitator Manual through friendly session reviews, leaving room for each facilitator's own style.

Track delivery against agreed targets, and gather session data, attendance and outcomes for funder reports.

Promoting VIBE
You are a confident, warm voice for VIBE, helping more young people get the support our work offers.

Seek out and build relationships with schools, PRUs, youth justice services and community partners, introducing them to VIBE's work.

Promote and advocate for VIBE at partnership meetings, events and in conversations with funders and other stakeholders, where the senior leadership team can't attend.

Keep referral flow healthy by staying in regular touch with existing partners and passing on what you hear to senior leadership.

Safeguarding
You are a supportive contact for facilitators, not a second Designated Safeguarding Lead. Every concern goes straight to the DSL.

Act as a supportive soundboard for facilitators dealing with disclosures, helping them log incidents accurately and pass all concerns directly and immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Make sure facilitators follow VIBE's safeguarding standards and each school's visitor policy, and keep consent and referral registers up to date.

Experience supporting, mentoring or leading facilitators, practitioners or volunteers in a reflective, non-directive way.

Experience handling safeguarding disclosures and following escalation procedures to a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
