What they need


For one of our clients active in the Life Insurance and Group Insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Policy Servicing & Underwriting to provide operational backfilling support within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As Team Lead, you will oversee the Policy Servicing & Underwriting team, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with internal controls and timely delivery of activities in line with regulatory requirements and service level agreements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Policy Servicing & Underwriting team to ensure the completion of weekly deliverables within agreed timelines and service standards

  • Lead weekly team meetings and monitor operational KPIs

  • Execute internal controls under the responsibility of the Team Lead

  • Implement and maintain a performance monitoring framework for the TechCom scope

  • Define and execute an action plan to reduce the “Not In Time” backlog and stabilize team workload

  • Ensure operational coordination required for the successful delivery of key projects

  • Collaborate closely with commercial and technical stakeholders

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and team performance

    Required Skills & Experience

    Insurance Knowledge

    • Strong understanding of Group Life Insurance products, including death, disability and hospitalization coverages

    • Good knowledge of the functioning of group insurance contracts

    • Understanding of regulations related to employee benefits and taxation

    • Knowledge of Sigedis processes is considered a strong asset

    Technical & Operational Skills

    • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and brokers

    • Experience managing multiple cases simultaneously while respecting strict legal deadlines

    • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and central/mainframe systems

  • Experience performing internal controls

  • Strong team spirit, detail-oriented, prioritization skills

  • Languages:

    • Dutch: Fluent

    • French: Fluent

    • English: Professional working proficiency
