About the Role
Are you a strategic logistics leader ready to spearhead supply chain excellence for cutting-edge airborne capabilities?
As the Team Lead for the MC-55A Supply Chain, you will champion the performance and service delivery of the Airbus Operations Supply team. Serving as the vital focal point for all tactical and service delivery activities, you will leverage your exceptional communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of inventory, procurement and warehouse personnel. You will ensure services are delivered with the precision required to meet strict contractual and customer milestones, while fostering a cooperative, cost-effective strategy through to the platform's planned withdrawal date.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee Breakdown Spares and Repairable Item Supply Chain services.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage assigned Commonwealth funds within TMS, driving performance management and budget compliance.
- Framework & Compliance: Lead the Supply Chain aspects of the Performance Framework, ensuring strict adherence to interfaces, policies, and procedures.
- Stakeholder Integration: Actively manage critical relationships with customer and suppliers.
- Resource Optimization: Plan and balance resources, interdependencies, and team competencies to seamlessly meet program demand forecasts.
About You
You are a unifying leader and a powerful voice for your team. You excel at building highly effective stakeholder relationships, empowering your people to own their accountabilities, and fostering a culture of shared success.
Your Experience & Qualifications:
- Education: Qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Leadership: Extensive experience managing personnel and guiding high-performing teams to success.
- Strategic Influence: Proven ability to contribute to and shape overall service delivery strategies.
- Defence Expertise: Deep understanding of inventory and logistics processes within a Defence environment, backed by relevant Defence training in Supply or Aviation trade groups.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A solid grasp of Aviation industry compliance (e.g., DASR, CASA, EASA, ITAR, export/import controls) and how they apply to spares and supply chain management.
