Team Lead - Medical Coding (Denials / E&M / ED Profee / Pathology / An

We are hiring experienced Team Leads for our Medical Coding Operations team in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage coding teams to deliver productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
• Review coding quality, perform audits, and drive corrective action plans.
• Handle coding escalations and provide guidance to team members.
• Monitor daily productivity, TAT, and quality metrics.
• Conduct team huddles, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Client teams to improve delivery performance.
• Train and mentor coders on coding guidelines, process updates, and quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, payer-specific guidelines, and client requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of US Medical Coding experience.
• Prior experience as Team Lead / Senior Team Lead / SME / QA Lead.
• Strong experience in one or more of the listed specialties.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and coding guidelines.
• Experience in productivity management, quality governance, and client escalations.
• CPC, CCS, COC, CIC or equivalent certification preferred.
