Team Lead (Multispecialty) - Medical Coding

• Lead multispecialty medical coders across E/M, Surgery, and Anesthesia, ensuring daily productivity and quality targets are met.
• Monitor productivity, quality, accuracy, and turnaround time (TAT) and conduct daily huddles, performance reviews, feedback sessions, and team connects.
• Review coding errors, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and client-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with QA, SMEs, Trainers, and Operations Managers to improve performance and coordinate OJT, refresher training, and cross-training for identified knowledge gaps.
• Manage escalations related to coding, productivity, quality, attendance, and employee performance.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and performance reports and participate in client meetings to address coding and operational queries.
• Ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, payer guidelines, and client-specific coding policies.
• Drive continuous improvements in productivity, quality, and process efficiency, while mentoring team members and supporting career development and succession planning.

Candidate Profile

• 8 10 years of Medical Coding experience, with at least 1 2 years in a supervisory role such as SME or Process Coach.
• CPC, CCS, COC, or equivalent medical coding certification preferred.
• Graduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, or a related discipline preferred.
• Experience in US Healthcare / RCM / Medical Coding BPO is mandatory.
