Team Leader - Concrete Manufacturing

We're looking for a hands-on Team Leader to join a busy concrete manufacturing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of practical, floor-based work and administrative responsibilities, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to support the team when needed.

You'll be leading a small crew while working closely with the Site Manager to keep production, dispatch, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. One minute you could be helping coordinate deliveries and completing paperwork, and the next you'll be out in the yard assisting the team, checking quality, or helping with production activities.

This role would suit someone with experience in manufacturing, production, concrete products, or a similar industrial environment who enjoys variety and takes pride in leading by example.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and supporting a small team of storepersons and labourers
• Working alongside the Site Manager to keep daily operations running efficiently
• Assisting with production planning and scheduling
• Coordinating dispatch activities and helping ensure deliveries run on time
• Completing production records, paperwork, and general administrative tasks
• Carrying out quality checks and maintaining product standards
• Supporting the team with hands-on production, workshop, and yard duties when required
• Building and maintaining moulds for concrete products
• Promoting a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability

✅ What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, concrete, or a similar environment
• Proven leadership or team coordination experience
• Someone who enjoys balancing administration and operational responsibilities
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities
• A team player who knows when to lead and when to lend a hand
• Engineering, mechanical, trade, or concrete industry experience would be highly advantageous
