Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• To measure and manage machine outputs against agreed targets, to suggest and implement improvements to achieve/maintain/improve current output levels
• To measure, record and analyse current change over procedures and practices
• To suggest and implement improvements in product change over
• Follow all working practices ensuring adherence to current food safety legislations
• Accept production/quality documentation
• Assign labour to production tasks
• Request and accept raw materials
• Complete and review production/quality documentation
• Liaise with production supervisor, in relation to the production plan, materials, staffing training and anything that will affect the day to day running of the production lines
• Ensure a high level of housekeeping in production areas
• Ensure compliance with any written safety procedures
• Encourage a pro-active attitude to safety
• Log all accidents
• Work within and encourage all aspects of GMP

Knowledge and Skills

• Self motivated
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• High energy levels
• Uses own initiative to solve problems
• Flexible approach to working hours
• GMP knowledge/experience
• Accurate completion of documentation
• Computer literate
• Articulate with good numerical skills
• Well presented and experienced in working within controlled environments (Pharmaceutical/Medical Device/Food)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.46 per hour
