Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to lead a team of Support Workers at our Residential Home in Ilford . You will be leading a team of Support Workers who will be supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Challenging Behaviour.

Previous senior or team leader experience is preferred as you will be responsible for the running of the home in the managers absence and also leading a team of support workers. You must have your NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and experience with Challenging Behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care and Support to the individuals in our care
• To lead a team of Support Workers in delivering the best possible Care and Support
• Help to update Care Plans, Risk Assessments and daily notes
• Work with management to ensure the smooth running of the service and ensure Service Users are encouraged to make choices and be independent
• Delegate tasks to Support Workers and ensure all duties are fulfilled
• Administer and order Medication
• Report any maintenance issues to management

Essential

• To hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience of working with Learning Disabilities, Autism or Challenging Behaviour
• Be able to deal with Challenging Behaviour in the home and out in the community
• Be flexible to work early shifts, late shifts and every other weekend
• To have detailed knowledge of Safeguarding and confidentially
• Full UK Driver's Licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.10 per hour

Work Location: In person
