Team Leader

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. This role involves coordinating activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining organisational efficiency. A background in retail or sales management, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential to succeed in this position. Duties

• Lead and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and operational goals
• Organise daily schedules and delegate tasks effectively to optimise productivity
• Provide training and mentorship to new and existing staff members
• Monitor team performance, offering constructive feedback and support
• Ensure high standards of customer service through effective communication and problem-solving
• Manage merchandising displays and ensure adherence to brand guidelines
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including attendance, sales reports, and stock levels
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations
• Uphold organisational policies, health & safety standards, and company procedures
• Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional development

Experience

• Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
• Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management preferred
• Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
• Administrative experience including record keeping and reporting
• Demonstrated time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Previous experience in customer service roles demonstrating phone etiquette and organisational abilities
