Team Leader - Collection

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of collection executives to achieve monthly collection and recovery targets.

Monitor delinquent loan accounts and ensure timely follow-up for overdue payments.

Allocate collection cases to team members and track daily collection performance.

Conduct field visits for high-value or critical overdue accounts, as and when required.

Guide the team in resolving customer payment issues while maintaining a professional approach.

Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical collection practices.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance reports.

Analyze collection trends and recommend strategies to improve recovery efficiency.

Train, mentor, and motivate team members to improve productivity and performance.

Maintain accurate records of collection activities in the company's system.

Ensure proper documentation and timely escalation of non-performing accounts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

4- 8 years of experience in collections, with at least 2-3 years in a team handling or leadership role.

Experience in loan collections (Gold Loan, Home Loan, LAP, MSME, Personal Loan, Vehicle Loan, or similar financial products) is preferred.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS Excel and collection management systems.
