Team Leader - Corporate Processor

To oversee the day-to-day operations involved in the secure and timely handling of banking-related shipments such as credit cards, Statements of Account (SOAs), PIN mailers, and customer letters.

The role involves supervising a team of processing personnel to ensure that all steps, from receiving to return, are carried out accurately and efficiently. This role will support the Manager by monitoring team performance, facilitating issue resolution, and contributing to accurate and timely reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day handling of all corporate banking shipments, including the receiving, encoding, sorting, dispatch, and return of documents and packages.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of Return to Shipper (RTS) and assist in the preparation of reports for submission to bank clients.
• Monitor team compliance with turnaround times and client service-level agreements, escalating any deviations to the Manager as necessary.
• Provide direct supervision and operational support to assigned personnel, ensuring clarity of tasks and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Assign daily workloads to CPT personnel, track individual and team performance, and provide feedback to promote operational excellence.
• Represent the department in client meetings and internal reviews as required, particularly in the absence of the Manager.
• Serve as a secondary point of contact for internal departments and client-facing teams, assisting with updates and resolving operational concerns.
• Coordinate with regional and destination and origin branches for shipment tracking, return processing, and POD confirmation.
• Assist in compiling operational data, identifying discrepancies, and preparing reports on key performance metrics for managerial review.
• Liaise with the Process Excellence Team for any updates, improvements, or procedural changes on CPT operations, and ensure all revisions are accurately reflected in the SOP manual
• Performs other functions as assigned by the immediate head
