Team Leader, PMA Engineering

Aeronics Emaroh LLP is a world class PMA designer, contract manufacturer and MRO facility for the commercial aviation industry, located in Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru. We are looking for a Team Leader Design Engineer, Mechanical for commercial aircraft and engine components mechanical and electo-mechnical parts for the Aerospace Industry. Aeronics is an AS9100 certified company with all business from US customers. This position with a team of 4 members will be fully dedicated provide services from Aeronics to a US PMA company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 3 employees to provide excellent service
• Perform reverse engineering to the requirements of Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) Product Manufacturing Approval (PMA).
• Design parts in SolidWorks to deliver drawings, IGES files, etc.
• Perform drawing updates and digitization of existing designs
• Disassemble parts and take dimensions.
• Perform tolerance analysis and stack up
• Prepare PMA packages with drawings, justification for materials and dimensions to FAA requirements
• Prepare reports to track performance

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a good institution
• Ten to fifteen years of experience designing products in SolidWorks
• Minimum 3 years experience in supervising a team
• Must be an expert in SolidWorks
• Good analytical skills and ability to write technical justifications.
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
