Playing a key role in shaping the patient experience, the Team Leader Group Admissions delivers a consistently positive patient experience, by ensuring patients receive a patient centred and personalised service with admissions support line and completing patients' admissions. By leading a dedicated team, you will help create a seamless and positive journey for patients from their first point of contact through to admission.

The role is offered on a 6-month, part-time contract basis, working 24 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support a high-performing Admissions team to deliver exceptional patient service and operational excellence.

  • Manage patient support hotline activities and drive a seamless, patient-centred admissions experience.
  • Monitor workflows, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through performance management, training, and ongoing support.

A confident people leader, you will be skilled in coordinating, coaching, and developing team members while effectively managing competing priorities. You will possess strong computer literacy, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and webPAS, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, quality service delivery, and operational excellence.

Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.
