Team Leader - Maintenance/Processing

NADEC is looking for an experienced Team Leader - Maintenance/Processing  to lead maintenance and technical services activities within our dairy processing facilities, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for a maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in dairy, food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across processing operations.

• Ensure maximum equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.

• Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs including OEE, MTTR, MTBF, PM Compliance, and maintenance costs.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions.

• Lead equipment reliability and continuous improvement projects.

• Develop and optimize maintenance strategies based on equipment performance and history.

• Support asset lifecycle management and capital project activities.

• Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure safe and effective execution of maintenance work.

• Manage manpower allocation, shift coverage, and maintenance schedules.

• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while identifying training and succession planning needs.

• Coordinate planned shutdowns and maintenance activities with Operations and other stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and maintenance standards, including HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 requirements.

• Provide technical support for processing equipment such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, CIP systems, mixing units, pumps, valves, and heat exchangers.

• Support spare parts management, procurement activities, and inventory accuracy.

• Promote safety culture, 5S implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience within dairy, food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environments.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of dairy processing equipment, including homogenizers, pasteurizers, cream separators, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and gearboxes.

• Good understanding of PLC, SCADA, electrical systems, and industrial control circuits.

• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating cross-functional maintenance activities.

• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.

• Understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and food manufacturing compliance requirements.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
