Your opportunity to join our team:

We’re looking for a hands-on Team Leader – Freezer to join our Warehousing & Distribution team at Edinburgh Parks, South Australia.

Working on our afternoon shift, 1:00pm – 9:00pm Monday to Friday, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the freezer area, leading your team to safely and efficiently deliver against our despatch and operational requirements.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse or distribution team member looking to take the next step in leadership, or an established Team Leader who enjoys being on the floor, supporting their people and keeping operations moving.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the commencement of shift, handovers, rostering and attendance management
• Coordinate despatch and unloading schedules to support an efficient operation
• Oversee stock rotation and wastage control within the freezer
• Manage break coverage and operational workflow throughout the shift
• Lead and support the team to achieve daily safety, service and productivity expectations
• Maintain high standards of WHS, food safety and housekeeping
• Work closely with other teams across the site to ensure smooth operational flow
• Build capability within the team through coaching, support and clear direction
• Lead by example and create a positive, accountable team environment
• Support continuous improvement across the freezer and broader distribution operation

What you’ll bring:

• Experience working within a warehouse, distribution or similar operational environment
• Previous leadership, Leading Hand or Team Leader experience is highly regarded
• Confidence coordinating people, priorities and workloads in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on leadership style
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• The ability and willingness to work in a freezer/cold-storage environment
• Flexibility to work occasional Saturday overtime when required
