We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Team Leader to help guide our staff, ensure smooth daily operations, and provide our guests with an unforgettable experience.

Role Overview

As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing daily shift operations, guiding team members, maintaining our high standards for food quality and safety, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. This role is perfect for someone with café or bakery experience who is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Management: Lead by example to ensure smooth front-of-house operations during your assigned shifts.
• Team Leadership: Guide, motivate, and support team members. Assist with training new hires on Brecotea’s standards, recipes, and customer service protocols.
• Customer Experience: Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Operational Excellence: Complete daily opening and closing, monitor online delivery orders, and ensure all stock amounts are accurately updated.
• Quality Control: Ensure all pastries, breads, and beverages meet Brecotea’s strict quality and presentation standards.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both staff and customers, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
• Inventory & Cash Handling: Assist with inventory counts, restocking supplies, and performing accurate register operations and cash management during your shift.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a café, bakery, or fast-paced food service environment. Previous supervisory or shift lead experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with POS systems, online order management, and daily operational checklists.
• Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Availability: Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (opening/closing).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
