Team Manager

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented US Accountant with experience in bookkeeping and end-to-end accounting for US clients. The candidate will be responsible for managing team, managing complete accounting operations, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting for US clients.
• Manage bookkeeping, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
• Generate monthly/yearly financial statements.
• Work on QuickBooks/Xero and other accounting tools.
• Communicate financial updates and reports to clients.
• Lead and support the accounting team, address team queries, and ensure smooth coordination and workflow.
• Act as a bridge between the accounting team and the reporting manager, providing regular updates, escalating issues, and ensuring effective communication.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in US Accounting, bookkeeping, or international accounting.
• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting for US clients.
• Good knowledge of US GAAP, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting software.
• Experience in handling or mentoring a team and resolving day-to-day accounting queries.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between the team and reporting manager.
• Ability to review team work, monitor deliverables, identify issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
