What they need

About us:

What began in 1910 as a small co-operative of just three pharmacies has grown into Wesfarmers Health—a leading Australian organisation in health, beauty, and wellness.

Today, Wesfarmers Health proudly employs over 3,600 team members, all committed to delivering accessible, innovative, and trusted health and beauty services to Australians nationwide, across retail, medi-aesthetics, digital health, and wholesale and supply chain operations.

What you’ll do:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inbound Manager to join our Sydney Fulfilment Centre in Marsden Park. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the Receiving function across the Fulfilment Centre, ensuring supplier deliveries are received safely, accurately and efficiently to support product availability and service outcomes across the business.

As a key member of the Operations leadership team, you will drive operational excellence through effective people leadership, stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement, while fostering a positive, safety-focused and high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Receiving function across the Fulfilment Centre, ensuring all inbound loads are unloaded, receipted and completed systemically in a timely manner to support downstream operations
  • Plan workforce requirements and optimise staffing levels to achieve service and cost KPIs, while ensuring capability across the team to effectively manage peaks in activity, absence and turnover
  • Monitor productivity, accuracy and performance, providing timely coaching and development to drive operational excellence and achieve receiving targets
  • Optimise inbound operations through data analysis, performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy and service delivery
  • Partner closely with Inventory and Replenishment teams to ensure product is received, presented and allocated appropriately to support timely put away and fulfilment outcomes
  • Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture, building strong engagement across the Inbound team and broader Distribution Centre to deliver the best outcomes for the Fulfilment Centre as a whole
  • Champion safety, wellbeing and people leadership, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and payroll obligations, while promoting a positive, high-performing and safety-focused workplace culture

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven leadership experience within a warehouse, distribution centre or FMCG environment
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions that improve team and business outcomes
  • Proven experience leading and supporting teams through change, with the ability to drive adoption of new processes and ways of working
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly convey messages, actively listen and provide constructive feedback
  • Commercial and strategic thinking, with an understanding of the key drivers of operational success and the ability to balance short and long-term priorities
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, using data and insights to optimise processes, drive efficiencies and enhance performance
  • Qualifications in Business, Management, Logistics or a related discipline will be highly regarded

Why us?

  • Access to employee benefits across Wesfarmers including team member discounts at Bunnings, Kmart, Target, Officeworks, OnePass, Priceline, atomica, Instantscripts and Clear Skincare Clinics
  • Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across the Wesfarmers Health Division and the broader Wesfarmers Group
  • Novated leasing options
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - available to all team members and their immediate family members, 24/7, 365 days a year
  • Beautiful outdoor terrace for work and recreation
  • Food, coffee and health & wellbeing facilities onsite including a landlord operated gym
  • Dedicated end of trip facilities (cycle racks, showers, lockers)
