Our Silver Fern Farms Processing Site in Takapau employs 900+ Team Members at the height of the season, contributing significantly to employment in our local Central Hawkes Bay communities. The site is located 30 minutes north of Dannevirke, 50 minutes south of Hastings/Havelock North and Flaxmere, and only 15 minutes from the affordable, whānau-friendly rural town of Waipukurau.

What's on offer:

• Roles such as, Slaughterers Assistants, Trimmers, Boners and General Labourers
• Trainees or experienced people are welcome to apply
• A range of employment options to suit your needs - including flexible working arrangements and job sharing

Te mahi, our working arrangements:

• Complete your on-the-job training and earn a minimum of $28.82/hr plus extras
• Usually, 40 hours per week during peak production season, plus overtime opportunities.
• Minimum $43/hr production overtime rate.
• All work clothing and safety gear is provided.

• No experience? No problem, we provide all the training you need.
• You're an active team member who attends work daily, can work closely with others, and brings a positive, hardworking attitude.
• Able to understand and follow health and safety, quality and technical compliance requirements.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
• Must be 18 years or older to meet audit requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment medical checks, criminal convictions check and physical fitness requirements.
