Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Team Member who thrives in a dynamic, customer-first environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, while maintaining a deep knowledge of our high-quality seafood products. Having a professional, pleasant, and customer-driven attitude is ideal for individuals in this role. No prior seafood or customer service experience required, just a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Weigh and wrap seafood for customers; take custom orders and fulfill special requests
• Set up, maintain, and break down seafood displays, ensuring products are well-stocked, fresh, and attractively presented
• Fillet, debone, and portion various types of seafood, including shucking shellfish
• Provide expert advice on seafood preparation, storage, and recipe suggestions
• Accurately handle all customer transactions and follow all cash handling procedures

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional demeanor
• Willingness to learn about our products, with the ability to retain and apply product knowledge
• Ability to stand for long periods (4+ hours) and lift up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and cleanliness
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be open to learning and mastering store procedures to excel in the role
