Our pizza restaurant is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Cook to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Follow proper food preparation and cooking procedures to maintain consistent food quality.
• Follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) system to maintain freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Assist with food inventory, stock rotation, and inventory control.
• Maintain clean and organized food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Strictly follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Handle cash and assist with end-of-day cash procedures when required.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with orders and inquiries.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Customer service experience is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
