About the Role

Bakery79 is looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Team Member to join our bakery team. You’ll be part of a facing environment, helping us provide great service while preparing and serving our bakery products to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role where every team member plays an important part in keeping the bakery running smoothly and making sure our customers have a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments.
• Prepare and serve bakery products, food and drinks to company standards.
• Keep the shop, counters, tables and work areas clean and tidy.
• Restock products, packaging and other supplies when required.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Handle and store food safely and correctly.
• Check product presentation, freshness and quality throughout the day.
• Support with opening and closing duties.
• Work effectively as part of a team during busy periods.
• Provide excellent customer service and deal with customer queries politely.
• Follow company procedures and help maintain a clean, organised and welcoming bakery.
• Carry out other reasonable duties to support the day-to-day running of the bakery.

• Previous bakery, café, retail or hospitality experience is useful but not essential, as full training can be provided.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
