ROLE OVERVIEW

The BUNSIK All-Round Crew Member is responsible for delivering consistent food quality, operational standards, and customer experience in line with BUNSIK brand expectations. This role supports both front-of-house and kitchen operations, ensuring efficient service, food safety compliance, and a clean, well-maintained working environment.

Crew Members are expected to work flexibly across multiple stations, including order taking, food preparation, cooking, packing, and cleaning. They play a key role in maintaining product consistency, supporting daily operations, and contributing to a positive team culture within the restaurant.

The position requires adherence to company SOPs, HACCP procedures, and UK food safety regulations, while maintaining speed, accuracy, and professionalism during service periods. Crew Members report to the Shift Leader or Store Manager and are expected to actively participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Customer Service & Front of House

· Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service

· Take accurate orders via POS system and handle cash/card payments

· Answer menu questions, make recommendations, and manage queues

· Maintain a clean, welcoming dining and service area

· Handle basic customer feedback or escalate issues when needed

Food Preparation & Kitchen Support

· Prepare Bunsik menu items (e.g. Tteokbokki, kimbap, fried items) according to SOPs

· Follow portion control and presentation standards

· Assist with cooking, assembly, packing takeaway/delivery orders

· Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures (HACCP compliant)

Hygiene, Safety & Operations

· Follow daily opening/closing checklists

· Clean equipment, utensils, and workstations regularly

· Monitor stock levels and support inventory checks

· Ensure proper food storage, temperature logs, and FIFO practices

· Comply with health & safety and company policies

Customer experience and brand

· Deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience

· Ensure brand standards are followed across food, service and presentation

· Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally

· Act as a role model and ambassador for the Bunsik brand

Team & Business Support

· Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front teams

· Support busy service periods and multitask across stations

· Assist with promotions, upselling, and operational efficiency

· Participate in training and continuous improvement

· Follow instructions from the Store Master, Supervisor and Shift Leader in line with the established chain of command.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Desirable

· Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented

· Open to learning both kitchen & service roles

· Comfortable in fast-paced environments

· Previous hospitality experience is a bonus

· Can communicate confidently with staff & customers

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 35.0 per week
