TEAM MEMBER | EXPERIENCED LAUNDROMAT ATTENDANT PART-TIME • ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED

Lapels Laundromat in College Station is looking for an experienced, energetic Team Member who loves helping people and knows how to keep a busy laundromat moving. You’ll be one of the friendly faces customers count on—welcoming them, answering questions, caring for their laundry, and making sure the store looks its best.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, stays upbeat when things get busy, and notices what needs to be done without waiting to be asked. If you have laundromat experience, speak English and Spanish, and take pride in great service, we’d love to meet you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in English and Spanish.
• Help customers use washers and dryers, answer questions, and resolve concerns with patience and confidence.
• Receive, sort, wash, dry, fold, organize, and return laundry orders with care and accuracy.
• Assist with customer drop-offs and pickups, payments, and order details.
• Keep machines, folding areas, counters, and the store clean, stocked, and welcoming.
• Balance customer service, laundry orders, and store tasks during busy periods.
• Work closely with teammates and follow through so customers receive the service they were promised.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous hands-on experience in a laundromat or professional laundry service.
• Ability to communicate comfortably with customers in both English and Spanish.
• An outgoing, personable approach and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
• Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized under pressure.
• Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
• Comfort working on your feet for extended periods in an active, hands-on role.
• Availability for the part-time schedule required for this position.

TUS RESPONSABILIDADES

• Recibir a los clientes con amabilidad y ayudarlos en inglés y español.
• Ayudar con el uso de lavadoras y secadoras, responder preguntas y resolver inquietudes con paciencia y seguridad.
• Recibir, clasificar, lavar, secar, doblar, organizar y entregar pedidos de ropa con cuidado y precisión.
• Ayudar con la recepción y entrega de pedidos, los pagos y los detalles de cada orden.
• Mantener limpias, abastecidas y agradables las máquinas, áreas de doblado, mostradores e instalaciones.
• Atender a los clientes, preparar pedidos y realizar las tareas de la tienda durante los momentos de mayor actividad.
• Colaborar con el equipo y cumplir con los detalles para brindar el servicio prometido a cada cliente.

LO QUE BUSCAMOS

• Experiencia práctica previa en una lavandería o en un servicio profesional de lavado de ropa.
• Capacidad para comunicarse cómodamente con los clientes en inglés y español.
• Personalidad sociable y amable, con gusto por atender a las personas.
• Capacidad para realizar varias tareas, prestar atención a los detalles y mantener el orden bajo presión.
• Responsabilidad, iniciativa y disposición para ayudar donde se necesite.
• Comodidad para trabajar de pie durante períodos prolongados en un puesto activo.
• Disponibilidad para el horario de medio tiempo requerido para este puesto.
