Team Member

JMJ TRADING LIMITED is looking for dependable and customer-focused Team Members to join its team in Lynfield, Auckland. The role involves preparing and cooking pizzas, assisting customers, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. Team Members will work across kitchen and front-of-house duties, ensuring food is prepared to a consistent standard while providing friendly and efficient customer service.

Key Duties:

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service by taking orders, responding to enquiries, and assisting customers with their requests.
• Check and manage food order dockets, ensuring orders are prepared correctly and within the required timeframe.
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients in line with established recipes and quality requirements.
• Cook and present pizzas to the required standard, monitoring oven temperatures and cooking times to maintain consistent quality.
• Check stock levels and advise management when ingredients or other supplies need to be replenished.
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and hygienic by cleaning preparation areas and sanitising utensils and equipment before use.
• Pack pizzas securely and appropriately for takeaway and delivery orders.
• Remove expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift and follow proper food storage procedures.
• Deliver customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring food is handled appropriately and customers receive their orders in a timely and courteous manner.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $24 to $27 per hour.

Other requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
• Valid and clean Driver’s License.
• Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, as required.
• Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing the duties of the role.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Able to identify and resolve routine issues and use initiative when required.
• Able to pass the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check.

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
