About the Role

Are you passionate about great coffee, warm hospitality, and building community? Tambayan Cafe is looking for energetic, friendly, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Team Members (both full-time and part-time roles available)!

In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our cafe, creating a welcoming "Tambayan" (hangout) space where every customer feels like family. If you love connecting with people and working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you!

What You’ll Do

• Create a Welcoming Vibe: Greet every guest with a genuine smile and deliver warm, attentive service that keeps them coming back.
• Craft & Serve: Guide customers through our menu, take orders accurately, and help prepare and serve delicious food and drinks.
• Keep Things Sparkling: Maintain a clean, cozy, and organized dining room, counter space, and front-of-house area.
• Keep Stocks Flowing: Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and keeping our display areas looking fresh.
• Be a Great Team Player: Work hand-in-hand with your colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive shift atmosphere.
• Uphold Safety & Standards: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cafe policies diligently.

What We’re Looking For

• Great Attitude First: Previous cafe, retail, or customer service experience is a wonderful bonus, but a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for people are what matter most.
• People Person: Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect warmly with customers and teammates alike.
• Active & Energetic: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle light physical tasks, and keep up with a dynamic cafe pace.
• Proactive & Reliable: A self-starter who loves helping others and takes pride in their work.
• Flexible Schedule: Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
