Team Member - Quality

Purpose of the Role

1. Ensure effective implementation of QMS / TQM practices in inhouse

2. Ensure defect free supplies of product parts /project parts processesed in inhouse

3. Enhance the process ,parts quality standards in product parts /project parts

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Sustain & improve in-process quality system and standards
• To have responsible for in-process quality team and assign for in-process inspection activities
• Guide and train inspectors to enhance their adherence to quality system defined
• Establish & maintain the ISO documents for inprocess & inward inspection
• Attend daily DWM in shop floor and resolve day to day quality issues
• Escalate the non-conformance observations in shop floor and get corrective and preventive actions
• Identify Poka-Yoke improvements and implement to prevent quality issues in parts
• Reduce inprocess rejection PPM ,COPQ & customer complaints by taking Corrective and preventive actions
• To do process audit and raise non-conformances for the deviations observed
• Identify repeated or long quality issues and conduct QCC along with the CFT
• Identify and correct the existing drawing errors to improve the quality
• Ensure rejection parts movements from Inprocess to scrap/quarantine locations and cleared regularly and necessary updations done in SAP
• Ensure the availability of measuring instruments & gauges required for Inspection activities and to arrange for any requirements exists
• Ensure the adherence of calibration of measuring instruments & gauges
• Update monthly MIS reports for quality objectives for TQM
• Coordinate with CFT and extend support to team and fulfill the requirements
• Evaluate & audit suppliers to enhance supplier quality level
