Team Member - Service/Cashier

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit
• Take customer orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations
• Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including food handling areas, kitchen equipment, and service counters
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food production needs
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and order accuracy
• Handle retail sales transactions with professionalism and attention to detail
• Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that fosters customer loyalty
• Ability to upsell products confidently to increase sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely within a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, serving techniques, and restaurant operations
• Retail sales experience including grocery store or café environments is a plus
