Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders accurately and answering questions about menu items.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions and cash register operations efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, supporting kitchen operations with food preparation tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, kitchen equipment, and food handling surfaces to ensure food safety compliance.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong skills in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment are essential.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Demonstrated ability in retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling accuracy.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Ability to maintain a clean workspace while following sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
• Food industry experience including serving, cashiering, or café operations is desirable but not required.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
