Team Members Evening Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage customer inquiries will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy setting. In addition to running the POS system you will be working on the sales floor organizing and getting the store ready to open for the next day. Benefits are for full time morning cashier only. Employee discount is for all employees full and part time.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned area.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide change accurately.
• Assist in inventory management by organizing products as needed.
• Organizing sales floor and departments assigned during shift

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus, enabling effective communication of pricing and discounts.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply but not necessary, as this skill enhances our ability to serve a diverse customer base.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers and team members.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others and contributing to team success.

Evening Schedules start at 4pm and end at 9:30pm Monday - Saturday, Sunday is 11am - 7:30pm, with 2 days off.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 28.0 per week
