What they need
About Aerospacelab
Our mission is supported by an ambitious vertically integrated approach: design & manufacture of small satellites combined with development of earth observation services.
Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.
In 2026, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 400 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.
Role overview
Aerospacelab is looking for a TeamCenter Application Engineer to join the internal ERPintegration team and contribute to the operation and continuous improvement of our PLM (Siemens TeamCenter) and its integration with the wider digital thread (NX, Odoo ERP).You will maintain our Development, Acceptance and Production TeamCenter environments, perform minor and major upgrades, and drive third-party suppliers on larger developments. You will work in close coordination with the ERP team to build and maintain the data flow between PLM and ERP, and you will be a direct point of contact for the engineering team, translating their day-to-day needs, with the support of business analysts, into concrete platform improvements. You join a fast-growing company whose ambition is to become a world-class satellite builder and data provider. The team is young, dynamic and very rewarding to work with
Your mission
As applicative administrator for TeamCenter:
- Administer and maintain the TeamCenter DEV, ACC and PROD environments
- Plan, test and deploy minor updates yourself, and drive third-party suppliers for major upgrades or larger developments
- Own license management and user/project provisioning at scale (including the automation that keeps TeamCenter user and project data aligned with Odoo)
- Diagnose and resolve functional and technical incidents, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with IT infrastructure for server-level intervention
- Administer access control and permissions (ACLs, business rules), in close cooperation with the cybersecurity team
- Build and maintain the data exchange between TeamCenter and Odoo, working hand-in-hand with the Odoo guild
- Gather, challenge and formalize requirements from the engineering team, and proactively propose PLM-based solutions to their workflow problems
- Monitor platform capacity and performance, anticipating issues before they affect users
- Support the selection, contracting and oversight of third-party suppliers for larger TeamCenter developments
- Coordinate with IT infrastructure on backup and disaster recovery requirements for the platform
- Share knowledge within the team
- Integrate TeamCenter inside the company software ecosystem
- Support flow documentation and end-user training
Key activities
- Review and challenge specifications with engineers and business analysts before committing to development
- Split larger requests into plannable tasks, and manage suppliers against clear, testable acceptance criteria
- Test and validate every change in DEV/ACC before promoting to PROD
- Maintain internal scripts and automations (user/project provisioning, license reporting, Odoo synchronization)
- Constant communication with all stakeholders — you won't run the platform alone in a corner
- Help others improve their day-to-day PLM routines
Must have
- Experience with TeamCenter (2y+)
- Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience
- Comfortable with data structures, databases, and system administration basics (Windows Server, SQL)
- Hands-on experience with scripting (Python) for administration and automation tasks
- Curious and open-minded, good at problem solving
- Autonomous and solution-oriented
- Fluent in English; French or Dutch a plus
Nice to have
Prior experience with Siemens Simcenter, NX, or any extra solution domain
Exposure to CAD-to-PLM-to-ERP data flows
Experience managing external suppliers/vendors on IT projects
Knowledge of mechanical design or manufacturing environments
License administration experience (FlexLM or similar) — flagged for internal discussion: may need to move up to "must have" or "missions" depending on how much this ends up weighing on the role
