About the Role

Build and maintain cloud-native business applications at scale. Develop, publish, and secure cloud-native microservices APIs, working across enterprise environments for large programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native microservices using Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and REST principles.
• Define and maintain central database systems.
• Develop high-performance, responsive backend systems.
• Design, build, code, and improve servers, applications, and databases.
• Deliver solutions within an agile DevSecOps environment.
• Design performant, resilient, and highly available services.
• Create, maintain, test, and debug backend systems collaboratively with teams.
• Implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Translate user stories into large-scale technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and implement business function services.
• Implement Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design patterns, including Saga, Circuit Breaker (CB), Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS), and event-driven architectures.
• Adopt reliability measures such as High Availability (HA) and fault tolerance.
• Understand cross-platform functionality and compatibility.
• Adopt scalability measures including load balancing, partitioning, and caching.
• Adopt consistency measures such as timeouts, retries, and pessimistic locking.
• Deploy deliverables with advanced monitoring and debugging capabilities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).

Key Skills

• Expertise in Architecture and Cloud-Native Development.
• Proficiency in Agile practices.
• Experience with Microservices and API Gateway.
• Expertise in RESTful web services technologies: Java, GoLang, Spring Boot, Node.js.
• Expertise in middleware, streaming, and database technologies: Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)/Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ADD) and automation testing tools: JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.
• Knowledge of cloud scaling and containerization technologies: Kubernetes (K8S), containers.
• Familiarity with service mesh infrastructure layers.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies: Java, HTML5, CSS3.

Experience Required

• 11+ years of experience in design and development across various platforms and domains.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud-native microservices development using agile methodologies.
