Tech Associate / Electronics Specialist

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and tech-savvy Tech Associate to join our Visalia store team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys electronics, understands technology, and is comfortable testing, researching, pricing, and organizing different types of tech merchandise.

Responsibilities:

• Test electronics and tech merchandise to verify functionality.
• Research products, model numbers, and current retail values.
• Accurately price tech merchandise according to store guidelines.
• Identify products and basic specifications.
• Organize and maintain the tech section and showcases.
• Keep tech merchandise properly labeled and displayed.
• Assist customers with questions about electronics and product features.
• Demonstrate products when appropriate.
• Help management identify higher-value tech merchandise.
• Regularly review tech bins and showcase items for required price drops.
• Maintain a clean and organized tech work area.
• Assist with merchandising and other store duties when needed.
• Follow all store procedures for handling, pricing, and selling tech items.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in electronics and technology.
• Comfortable researching products online and identifying model numbers.
• Basic knowledge of TVs, computers, gaming products, audio equipment, appliances, and other electronics is preferred.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to learn product pricing procedures quickly.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized.
• Previous electronics, retail, repair, or tech experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable communicating with customers.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise when needed.
• Weekend availability is preferred.
• Training will be provided.

Pay: $16.90 - $21.00 per hour
