Tech Domain Program Manager - High Speed Systems

For our client, we are seeking a Tech Domain Program Manager - High Speed Systems to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will drive technology strategy and advanced development efforts across a highly technical portfolio. You will partner with cross-functional engineering, program, and business leaders to shape investments, accelerate technology transitions, and align execution to strategic priorities. The position has meaningful impact on cost, schedule, technical performance, and the successful advancement of critical development initiatives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $228,100+ annually

Responsibilities

• Drive innovative solutions for customers through technology strategy and R&D programs
• Lead domain-specific strategies and collaborate with cross-functional integrated product teams
• Shape CRAD pursuits and manage cross-business IRAD programs ranging from $0.5M to $20M annually
• Ensure strategic alignment and overall program performance across cost, schedule, and technical execution
• Work closely with corporate technology leadership and technical leads to accelerate technology development

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in launch systems, missile programs, IRADs, or technical fields such as hypersonic flight, rocket science, or advanced propulsion systems
• Proven background in capability development, implementation, integration, and testing for development programs
• Experience in customer interaction and technology transition facilitation
• History of coordinating IRAD investments across multiple lines of business and functional organizations
• Demonstrated ability to convert strategic plans into prioritized IRAD deliverables with a solid business case strategy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Active Secret Clearance
