Responsibilities

• Burying fiber service drops using a remote controlled plow
• Hand bore and stick bore under sidewalks and driveways
• Travel in company vehicles for service calls/on site projects
• Work with coax/fiber tools and equipment
• Communicate procedures, policies, and other information to customers
• Work with support to resolve customer issues

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 75 pounds independently on an occasional basis.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work with heavier materials and equipment with assistance from another employee or mechanical lifting equipment when required.
• Push, pull, move, and position cable, conduit, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including up to 8–10 hours during a workday.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in awkward positions.
• Enter and exit trucks and equipment, and work around utility structures.
• Work with hands and arms above shoulder level for extended periods.
• Use hand tools and power tools requiring repetitive gripping, grasping, and manual dexterity.
• Walk over uneven, muddy, rocky, or rough terrain.

Schedule

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
• Shifts range from Monday – Saturday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
