Tech Engineer

About the role

This is a quality assurance and testing role focused on designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test cases. You will work on identifying and documenting software defects, developing automated test scripts and frameworks, and performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing. You will collaborate with developers to understand features and resolve issues, participate in requirement reviews, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and user stories
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and reproduce/resolve issues
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing
• Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the SDLC

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent through experience
• More than 2 years of prior related work experience
• Fluent English both oral and written
• Willing to work fully on-site from Yogyakarta office
