Key Responsibilities
Assemble, align, and install mechanical equipment, machine components, shafts, and gearboxes.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and resolve sudden equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
- Interpret technical drawings, mechanical layouts, schematics, and product specifications.
- Use manual and power tools to execute cutting, grinding, drilling, filing, tapping, and welding tasks.
- Measure parts using precision instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges) and comply with workplace safety regulations. [1, 2]
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Fitter or Mechanical Trade, or a relevant Diploma.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint interpretation, and proficiency with precision measuring tools..
