Technical Lead Data Engineering

OverviewLooking for a hands-on Technical Lead to build and scale data platforms and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This role combines architecture, coding, and team leadership.Responsibilities

Design and own scalable data pipelines and architecture
Build and optimize ELT workflows using dbt
Manage orchestration and data workflows (Airflow or similar)
Deploy and manage services on Google Kubernetes Engine / or any cloud
Optimize performance and cost (BigQuery or similar warehouses)
Integrate ML/AI models into production systems
Lead code reviews, enforce standards, and mentor engineers

Requirements

10+ years in Data/Software Engineering
Strong in SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark
Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS, IAM) or any other cloud (AWS/ Azure)
Experience with dbt, Airflow, and modern ELT (not mandatory)
Solid data modeling and performance tuning skills
Prior team leadership experience

Nice to Have

GenAI / LLM / Vector search
Large-scale datasets (100M+ records)
BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
