Role Overview

Are you a hands-on technical leader who thrives at the intersection of engineering execution and team leadership?

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tech Lead to join our Supply Chain technology team. In this role, you will lead development squads, architect scalable systems, and write high-quality code to drive digital transformation in retail supply chain technology.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Digital Transformation & Solution Design: Build flexible, scalable architectures that align with business demand and adhere to sound architectural principles.
• Lead & Mentor Engineering Squads: Guide development teams, champion innovative engineering solutions, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Code & Maintain Engineering Standards: Stay hands-on in daily technical execution by writing code, conducting code reviews, and upholding quality standards.
• Manage Agile Delivery: Partner with Product leads to size backlog items, refine user stories, and support sprint planning.
• Collaborate on Product Roadmaps: Work directly with the Head of Technology to translate strategic directions into actionable technical priorities.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven backend OOP experience (preferably Java, Golang, Node.js, or Scala) and a strong track record of leading and growing engineering teams.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Core Competencies:

  • Languages & Web: Proficiency in React, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Databases: Strong relational database querying using SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • DevOps & Containers: Familiarity with GitOps (ArgoCD, Kubestack), CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Architecture & Tools: Understanding of Open API standards, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and experience building with coding agents.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Points

• Experience in supply chain domains such as logistics, warehouse management, procurement, or inventory systems.
