Tech Lead Platform Engineering

The opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Tech Lead to provide leadership across a complex enterprise platform engineering environment, with a particular focus on APIs, integration and modern engineering practices.

You’ll work across multiple delivery teams and projects, helping shape technical designs, establish engineering standards and ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable and built consistently.

A key focus will be strengthening tech leadership across the integration landscape, including MuleSoft, API-led integration and an evolving SAP integration environment.

What we’re looking for:
You may currently be operating as a Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, Integration Lead, Principal Software Engineer or hands-on Integration Architect.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Significant software engineering, integration or platform engineering experience
• Strong technical leadership across complex enterprise environments
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, API design, contracts and integration patterns
• Experience with MuleSoft or comparable enterprise integration platforms
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and automation
• Experience establishing and influencing technical standards across multiple teams
• The ability to review and challenge technical designs while remaining pragmatic and delivery-focused
• Strong stakeholder engagement and the confidence to influence technical decisions across a large organisation

Experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, CPI, SAP PO or PI would be regarded, but strong API and enterprise integration fundamentals are more important than experience with one specific platform.

There are no direct reports. Your leadership will come through technical credibility, influence, mentoring and your ability to help teams make better engineering decisions.
