Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting mainframe applications while ensuring performance, reliability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Write, execute, and troubleshoot JCL jobs for batch processing.
• Work with DB2 for SQL queries, data retrieval, and database operations.
• Develop and maintain online transaction processing applications using CICS.
• Manage and access datasets using VSAM.
• Perform application debugging, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and application enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established coding standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of batch processing and online transaction processing.
• Experience in mainframe application development and support.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in production support and incident management.
• Knowledge of mainframe performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with mainframe development and testing tools.
