TechLead - Product Engineering (Technology)

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to work across product engineering, solution architecture and technology initiatives.

The role involves designing and developing scalable solutions, driving AI and Generative AI adoption, improving platform performance and reliability, and establishing strong engineering practices across our product portfolio.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Business, Delivery and Customer-facing teams to convert business requirements into practical technology solutions, while mentoring engineers and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure and high-performance software solutions.
• Define solution architecture for products and strategic customer initiatives.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Drive the adoption of AI, Generative AI and automation across products and customer solutions.
• Design solutions involving Conversational AI, Voice Bots, Email Automation and Generative AI.
• Work with cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Improve platform scalability, performance, availability, reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) through to permanent resolution.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve product capabilities and engineering efficiency.
• Establish coding, architecture, security and development best practices.
• Work with Product and Business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions with customers and partners when required.
• Mentor developers and technical team members and support their growth.
• Drive automation, DevSecOps, CI/CD, code quality and continuous engineering improvement.
• Ensure solutions are delivered with the required quality, scalability and maintainability.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong experience in software development with experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer or Solution Architect.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and scalable software design.
• Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks, APIs, databases and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure will be preferred.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Conversational AI or Intelligent Automation will be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers and working collaboratively across teams.
• Strong ownership, accountability and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
