Technical Account Executive (Packaging) - SCGP

Job Summary

Responsible for providing technical sales and service support for fiber packaging solutions, working closely with customers to understand their packaging requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions. The role focuses on managing key customer accounts, resolving technical and service issues, and strengthening long-term customer relationships while supporting sustainable sales growth.

Job Description

• Manage and develop assigned customer accounts for fiber packaging products and solutions to achieve sales and service objectives.
• Understand customers' packaging requirements, applications, and technical challenges to recommend suitable fiber packaging solutions.
• Provide technical consultation and product information to customers, including product specifications, packaging applications, and performance requirements.
• Conduct regular customer visits to follow up on product performance, service requirements, orders, and ongoing business opportunities.
• Coordinate with technical, production, quality, logistics, and other internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure effective pre-sales and after-sales service.
• Support troubleshooting and follow up on product quality, packaging performance, and customer complaints to ensure timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve or develop packaging solutions based on customer requirements and operational needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers and develop a good understanding of their business, operations, and packaging applications.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends, competitor activities, and developments in the fiber packaging industry.
• Support sales planning, forecasting, pricing, and account development activities to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Industrial Design, Product Design, Packaging Engineering, Printing, Materials Science or other related fields. (Bachelor GPA > 2.70, Master GPA > 3.30)
• 0–3 years of experience in technical sales, technical service, packaging, account management, or related fields; open for new graduates.
• Knowledge or interest in fiber-based packaging, corrugated packaging, paper products, or industrial packaging applications is an advantage.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate technical needs into appropriate products or solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Good communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Proactive and able to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English (TOEIC > 550).
• Willing to work onsite at SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (Bang Sue, Bangkok)
