Technical Account Manager (TAM)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers leveraging modern Data, Analytics, SaaS, and Cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, ETL/Data Integration, SaaS platforms, and Cloud Technologies, coupled with exceptional customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

The TAM will work closely with customers, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to drive successful adoption, implementation, optimization, and ongoing value realization from our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Success & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and trusted partner for strategic enterprise customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, executives, architects, and technical teams.
• Understand customer business objectives and align product capabilities to drive adoption and business value.
• Conduct regular technical reviews, health checks, architecture discussions, and executive business reviews.
• Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Technical Consulting & Solution Advisory

• Provide guidance on solution architecture, deployment strategies, integrations, and best practices.
• Assist customers with onboarding, implementation, and optimization of data and analytics platforms.
• Advise customers on modern data architectures involving Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, ETL pipelines, and cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution.
• Recommend performance, scalability, security, and governance improvements.

Data & Analytics Platform Expertise

• Support customers utilizing:

• Databricks

• Snowflake

• Data Warehouses

• Data Lakes

• ETL/ELT Platforms

• Analytics Solutions

• Guide customers on data integration, optimization, and modernization initiatives.

• Help customers implement best practices around data governance, security, and performance.

SaaS Platform Management

• Support and advise customers on SaaS platform implementation, adoption, and scalability.
• Monitor customer platform usage, adoption trends, and technical health.
• Drive customer engagement strategies to maximize product value and retention.

Cloud & Infrastructure Advisory

• Provide technical guidance on cloud architectures and deployment models.
• Assist customers in designing cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Management to influence product roadmaps based on customer requirements.
• Work closely with Sales and Pre-Sales teams during customer engagements and expansion opportunities.
• Coordinate with Support and Engineering teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Lead customer workshops, technical training sessions, and architecture reviews.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience working with enterprise customers in SaaS, Data, Analytics, or Cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks Workflows, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Airflow, dbt, or similar data ecosystem technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Observability platforms.
• Relevant Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly desirable.
