Technical Analyst, Cloud Platform Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Build, enhance, and maintain internal cloud platform components and DevOps tooling that help application teams deliver services faster, more securely, and more reliably.
• Take part in shaping and enhancing platform engineering capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and self-service developer platforms that improve developer productivity.
• Support the daily operation and continuous improvement of shared cloud platforms, helping to ensure strong availability, stability, performance, and user experience.
• Work closely with application, security, and infrastructure teams to design standardized deployment patterns, practical operational guidelines, and scalable best practices.
• Assist in automating platform provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting tools.
• Monitor platform health and usage, analyze incidents or recurring issues, and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and onboarding materials to improve developer experience and platform adoption.
• Stay current with cloud-native and DevOps technologies, evaluating their applicability to enhance the platform ecosystem.
• Provide professional IT ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud platform, DevOps, system engineering, or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Javascripts, Typescripts, Python, Java, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and containerized application environments.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a strong advantage; exposure to Istio or service mesh technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience or familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AliCloud) and cloud platform automation is an advantage.
• Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, configuration management, and platform monitoring concepts is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot platform and deployment issues and suggest effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Putonghua is an advantage.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Technical Analyst position.
